About Me
- Gary L. McDowell
- I'm 29. I split my time between Waukegan, IL and Kalamazoo, MI with my beautiful wife, Mandy, and our amazing son, Auden. I'm a Doctoral Associate at Western Michigan University where I teach Advanced Poetry Writing. I have a BA in English from Northern Illinois University and an MFA in Poetry from Bowling Green State University. I am the author of two chapbooks, They Speak of Fruit (Copper Dillon Books, 2009) and The Blueprint (Pudding House, 2005) and the co-editor of The Rose Metal Press Field Guide to Prose Poetry: Contemporary Poets in Discussion and Practice (Rose Metal Press, 2010).

B. I would buy Young Teeth, as I find it an interesting title with some ...bite to it. Also, because I've read your work in DIAGRAM and this poem, which is amazing.
C. Though I am sure the other titles you are considering are worthy contenders. I don't know
if the title will matter as much as the content.
